It's been quite some time since I had a blog. However, with so many friends in so many places and my leaving the country, I thought it might not be a bad idea to set one up in order to keep in touch with friends.
My flight leaves in less than two weeks. It's a strange thing to be able to see the days tick away in front of me now, after having anticipated this for so many months- even years. It's a long time to be away however, I hope that I have the strength to make it the adventure it promises. There is so much to be excited for in leaving, and much to look forward to in returning.
It's a lovely feeling to have so many pieces of my life dropping into place. I already have a job set up for after graduation- with my favorite theatre company in town. Not a very well paying job, but one that I have hoped for and worked towards for some time. Ten Thousand Things is the most exciting company in town and I cannot wait to see Michelle Hensley in action! I also have a couple of directing projects ready to start. I have found a collaborator for the Fringe Festival after next, seeing as how this summer I will be at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, and he's writing a whole play for me! I've also promised to produce and direct "Reefer Madness" but that project will depend on how soon I can rustle up the money needed for a project of that magnitude. Still... it's all very exciting and I feel so wonderfully... grown up.
